210 and Growing!

We hit the 200 member milestone last week! I know in the vastness of Linkedin that does not seem like a lot but we are the largest Texas State Group on Linkedin and I am hoping that we can keep it growing. I am working on getting some of the smaller Texas State groups to move their membership over to us and dissolve the group so that we are not all spread out.

An update: I will be posting the Alumni Events for August just as soon as they are sent out to me. I will do the same for any other Texas State events.

Hope all is well and remember to use this group and Linkedin as a networking tool. If you want to plug your services or company please email me and we can get an article up with your information.

138 and Growing!

Well we have are officially at 138 members on the Texas State Alumni Group on Linkedin. We are starting our small but in the last couple of weeks I have been adding more and more people. Keep on growing your networks and continue to promote our group so your Tx State friends. Tomorrow LI will roll out a searchable database and that should help boost our membership. This group is reserved for only LI members who are Southwest or Texas State Alumni so in order to do this I screen each profile to make sure that I see Texas State on the education section of their profile. I say this because there are so many groups out there that approve anyone and I believe that we should be who we say we are Texas State alumni.
